Jonathan Crane Or known to many as simply the Scarecrow Is A rather Arrogant And Unstable Man. Crane displays being both Anti-social and Emotionally Distant with a sort of Calm Anger. His current status of fearlessness has taken a further toll on his sanity, Due to Over Exposure to his own toxin he Tends to be unaffected by things that most people Fear, Even his one weaknesses are no longer a hold on him, but No he Craves it, to Cause it, And at some extremes to even feel it. He constantly Feels the need to Mentally Torture his students and tear apart the theories of his colleges. Genius over the edge of insanity.
Abilities:
Hand-to-hand fighter - Though he doesn't do so often, Scarecrow is skilled in hand-to-hand combat. He uses a martial art he calls "violent dancing" which seems to be a mix of crane style kung-fu and drunken boxing, which utilizes his naturally long limbs an speed to unleash devastating whip like kicks
Master Psychologist - Scarecrow greatly understands the power and uses of fear. He even has a PhD in psychology. With this knowledge, he knows how to use words to affect a person's actions, once managing to drive two men to suicide with nothing but words. He also can use this insight to find people's mental weaknesses and exploit them
Equipment:
The Scarecrow at times wields a scythe. Straws which he leaves as a calling card, special straws which can be snapped in half to release a fear toxin, stuffed scarecrows which scare his victims or are used as decoys to distract any following.
Scarecrow's chief weapon is a toxin he created called fear gas. With it, he can cause his victims' worst fear come to life or, he can cause a person to fear something they didn't before, as when he caused two guards at Arkham to fear glass in order to break out. This substance is versatile as it has been used in gas, darts, capsules, etc. His mask was made in order to enhance the effects of the hallucinogen while also acting as a gas mask of sorts to keep him from poisoning himself.
Weaknesses:
Obsession with Fear, In ability to feel fear, Socially distant, Easily angered by being called Johnny or some form of that.
Background:
Unloved by his mother and abandoned by his father, Crane lived mostly with his grandmother, who was a religious zealot. Whenever Crane would do something she disapproved of, she would lock him in a church, where he would be attacked by crows. At school, he was also picked on, due to his skinny body and long extremities. One day, Crane secretly watched his grandmother, who was preparing the suit he was forced to wear when he was sent into the church. He learned how she managed to get all the crows to attack. Later, he sneaked into the room his grandmother had strictly forbidden him to enter. He found a library. Without his grandmother's knowledge, he learned all he could about all types of sciences, particularly chemistry. He developed his own version of the mixture his grandmother had used to attract the crows. He tested it out on one of the bullies at school. He was attacked by birds, and half blinded. When he realized Crane's involvement, he beat him up again, leading him to develop stronger chemicals. Eventually, Scarecrow killed his grandmother.
When Crane was in high-school, he was still being mocked. In addition to being called Scarecrow, he was compared to Ichabod Crane. Eventually, Crane had had enough. Fueled with the fury at having been rejected - by Sherry Squires - and having put up with the torment most of his childhood, he dressed as a scarecrow and took a gun to the senior prom, brandishing it in the parking lot. He frightened a car driven by Bo Griggs, the leader of the bullies, off the road, leaving Griggs paralyzed from the waist down and his girlfriend - Squires - dead.
Crane finds that he takes tremendous pleasure in scaring people, literally to their deaths. He moves on to become a psychology professor at Gotham University.

That Was a mistake, That Was a big mistake. He let the Singular word 'I' Slip.
Jonathan Practically Sealed his fate, but the work he was doing with the Department Allowed him to be Several steps ahead of their plans, Setting them up for failure. Take a few months ago, He told the Major Crimes unit where 'he' was going to most likely strike next, and he did with out fail strike there, but not exactly how the department had prepared to prevent the strike.
He Was getting Bored with that Song and Dance, but If the little Shrew in the room had not have destroyed his supply he would have Been able to Send the city into a State of shock.
